Our Story
Falling in love… all over again! three City transplants lay roots in Ulster.
Left to right: Jackson, Jananne & Bill Valentin.
After falling in love with Stone House Tavern and the Ulster County community, our family is proud to continue its story as the new owners.
Long before this transition, we were captivated by Ulster County — the natural beauty, the incredible sense of community, and yes, this very restaurant. As guests, we experienced firsthand the warmth, hospitality, and heart that made this place so special. So, when the opportunity came along to carry on this legacy, it felt like home.
We want to express our deepest gratitude to Linda and Al for creating such a beloved local gem. It’s an honor to follow in their footsteps, and we’re committed to preserving everything that makes Stone House Tavern so special.
You’ll still be welcomed by the same dedicated team, enjoy the same great food, and experience the same sense of community that’s always been at the heart of this place. We’re simply here to help carry it forward — with care, respect, and a lot of excitement.
Thank you for welcoming us into your community — we look forward to meeting more of you, sharing meals, and making memories together.
With gratitude and joy,
The Valentin Family — Bill, Jananne & Jackson
